Workshops
We host a variety of creative workshops at the Flowerbank, including floral design, wreath making, and other crafts. We also offer Garden drop-in sessions, where you can bring any gardening questions and get expert advice. For a unique and personal touch, our Crafty Bride sessions let you bring your bridesmaids and friends to create your own bridal bouquets and arrangements.

I love the challenge of creating unique floral arrangements for events. While I can't predict exactly which flowers will be available until the day of collection, I can work with your chosen colour scheme and use a little creativity to craft something truly beautiful for you.

Current Community Projects
New Barnet Railway Station
The Flower Bank has teamed up with Great Northern to bring some floral beauty to New Barnet Station! Through partnerships with local supermarkets, retailers, and film sets that kindly donate flowers and materials, we create vibrant installations for each platform. Ursula and her team of volunteers have repurposed these donated flowers into over 30 hanging baskets, window boxes, and planters. The planters and window boxes were even created from old wooden pallets, while the hanging baskets were donated by local supermarkets, all in the spirit of our zero-waste mission.
This ongoing community project is designed to bring joy to commuters and promote sustainability by giving a second life to flowers and materials that would otherwise be wasted. Ursula has even heard from commuters who say the flowers are boosting their mental wellbeing.

Flower Bombing
The Flowerbank's 'flower bombing' consists of leaving our repurposed bunches of flowers in surprise locations around Barnet, Haringey and Central London. We then posted a photo of the mystery location on our Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, so people can find them, take them home and enjoy. Our goal is to spread joy in our community and to brighten a strangers day.
